Overview

Call Ingestion lets you upload audio or video recordings directly into Momentum — no integration required. Whether it’s a call recorded outside of your usual setup, a customer conversation from a third-party tool, or an offline meeting, you can bring it into Momentum and get the same transcripts, summaries, AI insights, and Salesforce updates you’d expect from any other call. Uploaded recordings appear in the Recorded Calls tab once processing is complete.

Prerequisites

The following feature settings must be enabled for your org:
  • Call Intelligence
  • Meeting Recording Allow Member Upload

What You Can Upload

Supported file formats:
TypeExtensions
Video.mp4, .mov, .webm
Audio.m4a, .mp3, .wav
File size limit: 2 GB per upload Daily limit: 5 uploads per user per day

How to Upload a Recording

  1. Navigate to the Call Library in your Momentum dashboard.
  2. Click Upload Call Recording.
  3. Select your audio or video file.
  4. Fill in the required details:
    • Title — a name for the meeting; if left empty, Momentum will auto-generate a title from attendees and date on submit
    • Host — the internal team member who led the call; auto-filled based on your account
    • Attendees — include at least one external participant (e.g., a customer or prospect)
    • Meeting date
  5. Optionally provide a Salesforce Account or Opportunity to link the call directly. If not provided, Momentum will attempt to match the call to the right record automatically based on attendees and meeting details.
  6. Optionally attach a transcript file if you already have one (see Providing Your Own Transcript).
  7. Click Submit. Momentum will begin processing in the background.
Once processing finishes, the call appears in your Recorded Calls tab with a full transcript, summary, and AI insights.
Momentum requires at least one external attendee. Uploads with only internal participants cannot be processed.

Providing Your Own Transcript

If you already have a transcript for the recording, you can attach it during upload. Momentum will use your transcript directly instead of generating one. If no transcript is provided, Momentum automatically transcribes the recording using its transcription service.

AI Agents and Salesforce Updates

Both Autopilot and the Enable AI Agents toggle must be enabled on your workspace to fully process the uploaded call — extracting insights and pushing updates into Salesforce based on your configured field mappings, exactly the same as your live calls.

Checking Upload Status

In the Upload Call Recording tab, click View Upload Status to navigate to a page listing all your uploads and their current status.
StatusWhat it means
PendingUpload received, processing not yet started
In ProgressMomentum is transcribing and analyzing the call
CompletedThe call is ready and visible in the Call Library

If an upload fails or the meeting status is In Progress for a long time, contact support with the recording details so we can investigate.
