# Conversational Data Sources

> The more data Momentum has, the smarter it gets. Learn about the conversational data sources Momentum can leverage.

## Overview

Momentum analyzes more than just calls. By connecting to your calls, emails, text messages, and documents, Momentum gives you a complete picture of every customer relationship — so features like Account Briefs, Autopilot, and Deep Research have the full story, not just the latest conversation.

## Conversational Data Sources

### Calls

Recorded meetings and phone calls from supported integrations. Calls are Momentum's primary data source and are covered in detail on the [Conversation Intelligence](/conversation-intelligence-overview) page.

### Emails & Text Messages

Emails and text messages are imported from **Salesforce Tasks**. When your team logs emails or SMS conversations to Salesforce, Momentum automatically picks them up.

<Note>
  To set up email and text message ingestion, reach out to our team via your
  shared Slack channel or at [support@momentum.io](mailto:support@momentum.io).
</Note>

### Documents

Documents uploaded to Salesforce records — such as on-site visit summaries, meeting write-ups, or executive briefing notes.

**Requirements:**

* Stored as a Salesforce ContentDocument linked to an Account or Opportunity
* `.docx` format, 1 MB or smaller

## How It All Works Together

The more conversational data sources you connect, the more context Momentum has to work with. An Account Brief can reference a pricing discussion from an email, a follow-up commitment from a text message, and competitive intel from a visit report — all in a single view.
